Baked Lasagna
  • 3 lbs. ground chuck
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 6 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 24 oz. cottage or ricotta cheese
  • 12 to 14 lasagna pieces, cooked as directed
  • 6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Paprika
  • Parsley flakes
  • Italian seasoning

Brown ground chuck with salt and pepper. Drain off grease. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 30 minutes. In a deep 9x13-inch pan or lasagna pan, start with a thin layer of sauce, layer of pasta, layer of sauce, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, repeat. Top with Parmesan cheese. Lightly sprinkle Italian seasoning. Garnish with paprika and parsley. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Serves 10 to 12.
