Western Baked Beans
- 2 cans pork & beans
- 1 can large butter beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- ½ lb. mild sausage (fried and drained of grease)
- ½ lb. bacon (fried and drained of grease)
- ½ cup molasses or honey
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- ½ cup green pepper, chopped, optional
Mix pork and beans, butter beans, kidney beans, sausage, bacon, molasses, brown sugar, sugar, onion, barbeque sauce and green pepper. Pour into baking dish. Bake at 350° for 1 ½ hours.
Serves 12.
